秋瑾，原名闺瑾，字璿卿，号旦吾，别署鉴湖女侠；留学日本时易名瑾，字竞雄。作为中国近代杰出的革命家和英雄，她的文学作品也极具特色。其诗、词文词雄丽，音调高亢，颇有渐离击筑之风，一唱三叹，慷慨悲壮。其文多属政论性的杂文，说理透辟，笔带锋芒，富有鼓动性。其弹词则有自传色彩，形象地体现了她的胸怀抱负。
