In an effort to keep the site tidy, we ask that when editing "linked site links" for various public-facing media entries, you stick with only relatively well-known websites. This allows for a better experience for fellow users, and reduces the admins' manual verification workloads.
Now, what constitutes a major site? Simply put, presence in the list below. Links to these sites are published immediately; links to any other site are held until an admin has had a look.
Please note that we are still in the early stages of the site, and so we may still be missing some major sites. If you feel that a site should be added to the list, let us know and we'll consider your request. You can also directly add the link, but note that we may choose to remove it.
We may also occasionally make one-off exceptions for some media. For example, it is reasonable for an untranslated webnovel to be linked to its foreign publisher's website, even if it is not a major site.
Similarly, some languages can also have extra permissible linked site links that are not listed above for the sake of brevity. (One such example could be the Chinese Baidu — this is certainly a major site for media, but only Chinese media.) Use your best judgement when adding linked site links in these cases, and when in doubt you can always ask us directly .
